Have you ever felt like every time you overcome one thing something else happens? Some would say, if it is not one thing it is another. Life is full of ups and downs. There will never be a time in your life when everything is working perfectly, on earth. People are not perfect. We are all a work in progress.
If you constantly feel defeated, the issue is not your circumstances. It is the way you view your circumstances. Notice how some people handle problems a lot better than others. It’s all about the way they think about their problems.
How do you feel when something doesn’t work out the way you imagined? What does failure mean to you? How do you bounce back after you fail? You can either allow it to set you back, or use it as a learning tool. Your thoughts determine your feelings, and your feelings determine your actions. You may think that other people cause you to feel a certain way, but it is your thoughts.
You were created to be great for the kingdom of God. You were made to win. Anytime you experience hardships, you can learn something from them. Have you ever noticed that you are more knowledgeable and equipped after you gone through a challenge? If you pay close attention, you can turn your lessons into blessings. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says “…My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness…” Instead of feeling defeated, trust God in the areas where you lack. What a blessing to know that we are not bound by our struggles. God loves us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He has a system set up for your success, and it starts with your faith.
Believe in God and his perfect plan. Believe that his grace is sufficient for you. Remember that everything you experience can either be used for growth or stagnation. It’s really up to you. Just know that defeat is not a part of the plan. It is a choice. You can choose to be complacent or you can choose to grow. Change your mindset, and change your life
