How you feel is the basis for many issues that you experience. Your thoughts determine your feelings and your feelings create your actions. Feeling better in this season is up to you. You have to decide how you want to feel. There are thought patterns and behaviors that make difficult for you to feel and do your best. This is often overlooked and many people suffer as result. They tend to pay attention to other aspects their lives while neglecting thought and mind management. Be encouraged. Remember just because you don’t know something doesn’t mean you can’t learn. That sort of thinking can really disempower you. No one knows everything. You want to learn. You are seeking answers. I encourage continue doing that. Stay connected to God and the things that align with his Word. Matthew 7:7-12 says 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Those you continue seeking will find answers. Let me share some solutions to the problem.
1. Develop a closer relationship with God
Your prayer life, worship, devotion, and study time should be set apart and done every day. We should be meditating on the Word of day and night. That intimacy with Him is so important. Get to know Him as your father and your friend. Fasting is also important for Christians. Make these practices a regular part of your walk. It is such a beautiful thing. You will feel a remarkable transformation.
2. Be Honest About Your Struggles
Acknowledging your mistakes hurts, and hang-ups are crucial when it comes to your healing and growing process. Learn to be okay with not always being okay. You don’t have to share everything with everybody. However, you need trusted people to open up. Don’t try to pretend that you have it all together all of the time. Many people find this challenging because they have identity issues. It will delay your healing if you don’t learn to be transparent.
3. Learn To Manage Your Thoughts
This one gets a lot of believers because sometimes we keep praying about things that God has already give us the ability to handle. What you put in your mind and the way you chose to view situations is choice. If you struggle with this, reaching out for help is a choice. You have to learn to change thoughts that are keeping you stuck.
4. Be Willing To Feel
What is happening in your body? And how does it make you feel? Be willing to allow yourself to feel your emotions, so that can be brought to the surface. Although you’ve been through a lot and it hurts deeply, your emotions are not going to kills you. It’s okay to cry sometimes. Running from them will keep you miserable and stagnant.
5. Never Give Up Hope
Proverbs 13:12 says “ Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life” If you’ve stopped hoping it’ no wonder you feel terrible. You cannot give up hope. Keep hoping, and trusting God for answers. Know that sometimes he speaks through other people. But hope helps you to keep pressing on even when it doesn’t make any sense. Don’t give up you have a purpose to fulfill.
No matter what you’ve been through, what the circumstances, what the probability looks like, you can change that. Stay encouraged. There are many blessing in store for you. When you feel better your quality of life will skyrocket. Your relationships will improve. You will be living the life that you’ve always desired.
